Job Requirements
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures including freezers and hot kitchens
- Capability to stand and exert mobility for extended periods up to 4 hours
- Physical ability to bend squat and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs
- Ability to work in noisy environments and communicate effectively
- Manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen sanitation roles preferred
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures
- Strong physical stamina and endurance
- Basic communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize all china glassware silverware flatware pots and pans in the hotel
- Ensure restaurant and banquet kitchens have requisite amounts of items for shifts
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchens and food preparation areas including equipment and floors
- Assist culinary staff during special requests or priorities as requested by Executive Chef or Sous Chef
- Store and transport pots and pans used in food and beverage operations
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and dishwashing equipment
- Adhere to health and safety standards in all kitchen cleaning tasks
