Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in a food service establishment
- Ability to work as a member of the team and communicate with kitchen staff
- Ability to lift, push, pull and transport food and small equipment
- Ability to bend knees frequently
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to have moderate hearing and excellent vision to perform tasks
- Literacy and comprehension skills to read usage records and special requests
- Ability to regularly move up to 30 to 50 feet

Job Duties
- Prepare foods of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards
- Begin with foods prepared in advance, ensuring not to prepare more than estimated needs
- Date all food containers and rotate according to policy, ensuring all perishables are maintained at appropriate temperatures
- Monitor depleted items or potential shortages
- Return all unused food during the shift to designated storage areas, ensuring to cover and date all perishables
- Assist in establishing plans and actions to correct any food cost issues
