Job Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of state and federal food-handling regulations
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS’s mission and operating philosophies
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Experience working in food service or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve attractive, nutritious and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal food-handling regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Support PHS’s mission and operating philosophies through food service
  • Monitor food stock and order supplies as needed
  • Assist in menu planning and adapting recipes to meet dietary requirements
