Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- one year experience as BOH operations
- food handler's and alcohol awareness certificate preferred
- ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
- ability to work under minimal supervision
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- professional attitude and appearance
- some travel required
- daily lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
- performing repetitive eye/hand coordination
- good balance and manual dexterity
- constant reaching, standing, walking, and stooping
Job Qualifications

- one year's experience in back of house operations
- food handler's certificate preferred

Job Duties
- communicates effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- makes quick and accurate decisions
- consults with assistant manager regarding serving arrangements and equipment needs
- sets bars, concessions, banquet tables
- meets with chef on duty to review setup and labor needs
- anticipates customers' needs based on event orders and requests
- motivates servers and resolves conflicts
- promotes the highest level of customer service
- determines when guests should not be served alcohol per TABC policies
- inspects function spaces prior to events
- conducts equipment inventory monthly
- maintains cleanliness and organization of back of house
- fosters cooperative working climate
- completes paperwork and closing duties
- reviews assignments with management
- notifies assistant manager of low supplies
- preps for bar and concession setups
- plans and directs food and beverage setup for events
