Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- one year experience in BOH operations
- food handler's and alcohol awareness certificates preferred
- ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
- ability to work under minimal supervision
- ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- professional attitude and appearance
- some travel required
- daily lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
- ability to perform repetitive eye hand coordination tasks
- ability to balance and have good manual dexterity
- constant reaching standing walking and stooping

Job Duties
- communicate effectively in English both verbal and written
- make quick and accurate decisions
- consult with assistant manager regarding serving arrangements and additional employees and equipment needed
- set bars concessions banquet tables
- meet with chef on duty at the start of shift to review BEO setup and labor needs
- anticipate customers needs based on BEO or assistant manager request
- lead and motivate servers resolving conflicts and exceeding guest expectations
- promote and maintain highest level of customer service
- determine when guest should not be served additional alcoholic beverages according to TABC policies
- inspect function space prior to start to ensure cleanliness organization and ambiance
- carry out responsibilities in accordance with policies and laws
- conduct monthly equipment inventory
- maintain back of house clean and orderly
- foster cooperative working climate maximizing productivity and morale
- complete paperwork and closing duties per standards and assistant manager
- review assignment status and follow up with banquet manager or oncoming supervisor
- notify assistant manager when low on supplies
- prep for bar concession and other F&B event needs
- plan assign and direct needs for F&B setups and operational needs
