Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous bartending experience preferred
  • effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • able to work in high pressure and fast paced situations
  • availability to work nights weekends and holidays
  • willingness to undergo liquor liability training

Job Duties

  • Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
  • be completely familiar with all kinds of liquor recipes prices and proper glassware and garnishes
  • know drink recipes prices and types of beverages available
  • be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including proper discounting MICROS system or registers bank procedures and tip policies
  • anticipate guest needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests maintaining positive guest relations
  • resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
  • be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every two years thereafter
