  • maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
  • must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written with fellow associates and guests
  • must listen to, understand, and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests
  • must be able to multitask and prioritize to ensure outstanding service
  • approach all encounters with guests and associates in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
  • attend all hotel required meetings and trainings
  • maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance, uniform and grooming
  • maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions
  • perform other duties as requested by management
  • must be available to work some weekends

Job Qualifications

  • physical ability to occasionally push, pull, lift or carry up to 40 pounds
  • ability to stand during entire shift

Job Duties

  • maintain a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and set a positive example for the shift team
  • anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues
  • communicate information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create a warm and welcoming environment during each shift
  • assist with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed
  • deliver outstanding customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer
  • follow operational policies and procedures including cash handling and safety and security to ensure safety of all partners during each shift
  • maintain a clean and organized workspace so associates can locate resources and product as needed
