Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-5 years of direct related catering experience in a high volume work environment
  • Excellent organization, planning, communication and customer service planning skills
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a team setting exhibiting excellent customer service
  • Must have personal and professional initiative, enthusiasm and dedication to excellence in wide ranging services to clients and guests
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One year experience as a banquet server or banquet captain
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent organization, planning, communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a team setting with coworkers, guests, clients and the community
  • Personal and professional initiative, enthusiasm and dedication to excellent client and guest services
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Consults with Food & Beverage Manager regarding serving arrangements and additional employee and equipment needs for smooth events
  • Oversees Food and Beverage operations during events to ensure client satisfaction and quality control
  • Observes food presentation to ensure correct garnishing and arrangement
  • Trains employees on food service processes and customer service practices
  • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws
  • Provides direction to team members for catering activities within the Food & Beverage Department
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate consumption sheets
  • Keeps linen cage stocked and cleaned
  • Ensures coolers are clean and well-maintained
  • Notifies Manager when inventory such as lemons, creamers, and coffee is low
  • Performs other duties as assigned
