Job Requirements
- must be a U.S. citizen or national of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform manual labor and operate ramp equipment safely
- commitment to adhere to company safety standards
- ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- effective interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in ramp operations or a similar role preferred
- strong leadership and team management skills
- ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- good communication and problem-solving skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Duties
- train and supervise daily activities of ramp agents and clerks to ensure safe and timely completion of assigned tasks
- unload and load different aircraft following all methods and procedures
- direct the work of other employees effectively
- enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- coordinate with other teams to maintain smooth ramp operations
- monitor workflow to meet operational deadlines
- address and resolve any issues during ramp activities
