Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, business or related field
- 5 years experience in healthcare provider contracting, relations or analytical capacity for Provider Contracting Executive
- 7 years experience for Provider Contracting Executive Senior
- Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strong understanding of managed care and value-based programs
- Ability to analyze financial and utilization data
- Proficiency in contract negotiation and management
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Experience with AI tools highly desired
- Ability to communicate effectively with executives
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, business or related field
- 5 years experience in healthcare provider contracting, relations or analytical capacity for Provider Contracting Executive
- 7 years experience for Provider Contracting Executive Senior
- Strong understanding of managed care and accountable health system models
- Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Expertise in payment methodologies including Pay for Quality/Performance, DRG, APC, ASC, Capitation, Fee for Service, RBRVS, Per Diem, and Per Case
- Proficiency in negotiating complex contract language
- Ability to analyze financial, quality, and utilization data
- Senior-level negotiation and communication skills for Senior role
- Leadership and portfolio management abilities
- Experience with AI tools and technologies highly desired
Job Duties
- Maintain and expand healthcare delivery system networks by negotiating contracts and maintaining provider relationships
- Monitor financial and utilization performance of contracts and develop improvement plans
- Develop and maintain regional networks to support new product introductions
- Collaborate with provider consultants to ensure proper contract administration and management of improvement plans
- Develop and manage risk arrangements including pricing and accountable health system funding
- Lead plan initiatives and pilots focused on network configuration, reimbursement, and management
- Develop long and short-range contracting strategies focused on cost reduction and quality care delivery
- Serve as a mentor to Provider Contracting Executives and provide leadership and guidance within the department
