Job Requirements

  • Education equivalent to a high school diploma or higher
  • Proven experience in event planning or protocol roles
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite in Huntsville, AL
  • Willingness to travel, work after hours and on weekends
  • Ability to drive on campus and coordinate with security

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in protocol or event management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coordinate complex events
  • Proficiency with event registration and expense reporting tools
  • Comfortable with driving VIPs and interacting with security personnel
  • Ability to work after hours, weekends, and travel as required
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

Job Duties

  • Provide protocol and event management support for VIP meetings, agency events, ceremonies, trade shows, conferences, and launches
  • Research venues and coordinate event setup, breakdown, and logistics
  • Interact routinely with internal and external VIP executives
  • Schedule and receive visitors courteously
  • Coordinate and relay logistics to participants
  • Prepare name tags and table tents
  • Clear expense reports
  • Develop event registration websites
  • Coordinate with campus security and drive VIPs on campus
