Job Requirements
- Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 70 lbs
- able to constantly push or pull up to 70 lbs
- able to constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend
- must be able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport, state, or customs requirements
- proficient in English
Job Duties
- Provide escort and special services for unaccompanied minors as requested
- provide general information and directions to passengers
- meet inbound and outbound flights as requested
- always be aware of the departure time of the unaccompanied minor
- never leave an unaccompanied minor unattended or out of sight
- always release the unaccompanied minor to gate agent or client representative
- always make sure the unaccompanied minor's documentation is in order
- always check the ID of the person claiming to be the party listed on the minor's paperwork
- complete appropriate documentation
- must be familiar with all FAA, airline, and company regulations
- comply with all safety requirements including using only trained equipment, reporting unsafe conditions and workplace injuries, wearing proper PPE, and attending safety training
- perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities
- complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards
- immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with company policies
