Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driving license
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the license required for driving lavatory service vehicle
  • Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport, state, or customs requirements
  • Must be able to constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs, walk, stand, reach above shoulder, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend
  • Occasionally lift, move, and carry weights up to 70 lbs, climb and crawl
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Must be able to work in outside weather conditions including severe seasonal elements

Job Duties

  • Operate the lavatory equipment
  • Ensure timely availability of lavatory equipment including its fueling and maintenance
  • Service aircraft lavatories by emptying waste receptacles
  • Use lavatory and sanitary water equipment to empty, flush, and fill aircraft systems
  • Follow environmental procedures while emptying waste trucks and fueling the same
  • Clean aircraft lavatories and empty waste receptacles
  • Adhere to all safety and other procedures and policies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skills and experience capabilities expected for this position
  • Complete work in a safe and secure manner following company safety and operational standards
  • Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy
