Job Requirements
- Four year degree preferred
- Two year associates degree
- Seven years general full time business experience
- Three years experience in property management
- Certifications such as ARM, CAM, RAM, or HCCP preferred
- Knowledge of residential property management

Job Duties
- Train and be responsible for work performed by all staff members under their supervision
- Hire and terminate employees in accordance with company policy
- Perform written evaluations of employees and make recommendations for salary increases and/or advancement
- Maintain accurate payroll records and adhere to payroll policies and cutoff dates
- Assist in leasing apartments and prepare, process and sign all leases and related forms
- Assist in collection of rents and handle delinquency matters
- Maintain records of all financial transactions and adhere to company accounting policies
- Prepare daily bank deposits and purchase necessary office supplies
- Supervise outside contractors working on the property
- Handle all details for move-ins and move-outs including apartment inspection check-ins and check-outs
- Ensure the property is maintained in good physical condition and provide a clean community
- Work within the budget and notify the Regional Property Manager of any possible variations
- Resolve resident complaints
- Report accident and emergency situations immediately and prepare required reports
- Ensure maintenance requests are handled promptly and notify residents of any delays
- Continually inspect property and improvements, recording deficiencies and taking necessary action
- Schedule and assign personnel for routine maintenance, emergency coverage, office coverage, and resident assistance
- Perform marketing activities to promote the apartment community
- Collaborate with Regional Property Manager to prepare the annual operating budget
- Maintain communication with employees, residents, applicants, and vendors
- Travel as required with occasional personal vehicle use
- Perform other duties as assigned
