Job Requirements

  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or equivalent experience
  • minimum 5 years commercial property management experience
  • excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and Mac OS
  • trainable on MRI and Salesforce.com
  • onsite presence at property
  • strong financial analysis capabilities
  • professional interpersonal skills
  • understanding of finance and accounting fundamentals
  • knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, and property management
  • recommended professional real estate designations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in commercial property management
  • minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Mac OS
  • trainable on MRI and Salesforce.com software
  • strong financial analysis skills including tenant financials and real estate investment metrics
  • knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, and property operations
  • ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and tenants
  • understanding of core finance and accounting fundamentals in property management
  • preferred CSM, RPA, CPM, or CCIM designations

Job Duties

  • Manage day-to-day property operations to maximize net operating income
  • develop and implement expense reduction and leasing strategies
  • prepare annual operating and capital budgets
  • oversee internal and external maintenance personnel
  • coordinate with leasing department to support property-level leasing goals
  • develop and execute annual business plans including revenue enhancement initiatives
  • ensure property meets branding, appearance, and cleanliness standards
  • assess tenant financials and make recommendations on rent relief and terminations
  • act as primary risk manager interfacing with legal and insurance carriers
  • stay updated on real estate industry and retailer trends
