Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of custodial or related experience
  • Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify issues and determine repairs needed
  • Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and communicate with outside contractors while completing work on WEL property including but not limited to timeline accuracy
  • Manage invoicing and payments for all warehouse and non-driving asset and building repairs
  • Coordinate and gather bids from outside contractors for facilities compliance repairs
  • Propose cost savings for company assets
  • Work and communicate with each warehouse and terminal manager regarding their location including director of warehousing
  • Collect, validate and update central database contractor qualifications, insurance, and certifications
  • Hire and train maintenance department staff
  • Organize and oversee the schedules and work of facilities staff
