Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel or property maintenance preferred
- ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as climbing stairs and ladders
- capability to kneel squat sit stand bend and twist for extended periods
- ability to lift push and pull up to 50 pounds
- willingness to follow company policies and safety procedures
- flexible to work varying shifts including weekends
- must comply with drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in general maintenance or hospitality maintenance preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- strong organizational skills
- good communication skills
- ability to follow safety guidelines and emergency procedures
- team player with flexibility to handle multiple tasks
Job Duties
- Managing work orders timely adhering to preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets and switches
- conducting light plumbing including plunging and unclogging sinks
- executing preventative maintenance programs
- performing janitorial work in public spaces
- parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- drywall repair and painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing supply orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash
- moving furniture and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring security needs of property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
