Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
  • Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing tasks
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform extended physical activities
  • Ability to follow safety and emergency protocols
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Ability to operate maintenance equipment safely
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • Physical capability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Reliability and flexibility to handle varied duties

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Performing light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance programs
  • Conducting public space janitorial work
  • Maintaining parking lot upkeep
  • Performing trash cleanup
  • Cleaning PTAC units
  • Performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • Providing supply orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • Ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
