Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
- Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing tasks
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform extended physical activities
- Ability to follow safety and emergency protocols
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Ability to work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment safely
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- Physical capability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Reliability and flexibility to handle varied duties
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Performing light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- Carrying out preventative maintenance programs
- Conducting public space janitorial work
- Maintaining parking lot upkeep
- Performing trash cleanup
- Cleaning PTAC units
- Performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- Providing supply orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures
- Ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
