Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs, climbing stairs and ladders
  • capacity to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
  • flexible and willing to perform multiple duties
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • adherence to company safety and security policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or custodial work preferred
  • ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
  • strong organizational and inventory management skills
  • knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
  • ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner including shampooing carpets and cleaning floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or switches
  • executing light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging sinks
  • adhering to preventative maintenance schedules
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies
  • prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens and trash
  • following property emergency procedures and ensuring security
  • performing other duties as assigned
