Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs, climbing stairs and ladders
- capacity to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
- flexible and willing to perform multiple duties
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- adherence to company safety and security policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hotel maintenance or custodial work preferred
- ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
- strong organizational and inventory management skills
- knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
- ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner including shampooing carpets and cleaning floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or switches
- executing light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging sinks
- adhering to preventative maintenance schedules
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies
- prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens and trash
- following property emergency procedures and ensuring security
- performing other duties as assigned
