Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a maintenance or hospitality role preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • flexible schedule to accommodate various hotel operational needs
  • basic knowledge of maintenance tools and safety practices
  • valid work authorization
  • commitment to comply with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing work
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • willingness to learn and adapt to varied tasks
  • knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
  • physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • light plumbing including plunging, snaking, and unclogging sinks
  • executing preventative maintenance programs
  • janitorial work in public spaces
  • parking lot upkeep
  • trash cleanup
  • PTAC cleaning
  • drywall repair
  • painting
  • caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • providing supply orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
