Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a maintenance or hospitality role preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- flexible schedule to accommodate various hotel operational needs
- basic knowledge of maintenance tools and safety practices
- valid work authorization
- commitment to comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing work
- ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- willingness to learn and adapt to varied tasks
- knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
- physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 lbs
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- light plumbing including plunging, snaking, and unclogging sinks
- executing preventative maintenance programs
- janitorial work in public spaces
- parking lot upkeep
- trash cleanup
- PTAC cleaning
- drywall repair
- painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing supply orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
