Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
- ability to perform preventative maintenance tasks
- physical capability to climb stairs, ladders and perform bending, kneeling and lifting
- basic electrical and plumbing skills
- ability to manage and order inventory
- understanding of emergency procedures
- team-oriented attitude
- ability to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to operate cleaning equipment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to follow safety procedures
- willingness to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds
- flexibility to handle multiple duties
- basic inventory management skills
- commitment to quality work and guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- conducting light plumbing tasks like plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- executing preventative maintenance programs
- janitorial work in public spaces
- parking lot upkeep
- trash cleanup
- PTAC cleaning
- drywall repair
- painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
