Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, bending, squatting, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to handle multiple duties and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and assist with various maintenance and housekeeping tasks
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
  • Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repair
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and emergency protocols

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • Executing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • Conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • Performing public space janitorial work
  • Maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • Cleaning PTAC units
  • Repairing drywall
  • Painting and caulking
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
