Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, bending, squatting, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to handle multiple duties and adapt to changing priorities
- Willingness to work as part of a team and assist with various maintenance and housekeeping tasks
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
- Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repair
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures and emergency protocols
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- Executing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- Conducting preventative maintenance programs
- Performing public space janitorial work
- Maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- Cleaning PTAC units
- Repairing drywall
- Painting and caulking
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
