Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in general maintenance or property attendant duties
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to climb stairs and ladders regularly
  • Flexibility to complete multiple diverse hotel responsibilities
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and emergency procedures
  • Authorization to work legally in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or similar property attendant role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders promptly while following a preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets and switches
  • Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging sinks
  • Maintaining public spaces including janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • Preparing guest rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
  • Managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and reporting to management
  • Following property emergency procedures and ensuring security
  • Performing other duties as assigned
