Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in general maintenance or property attendant duties
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Capability to climb stairs and ladders regularly
- Flexibility to complete multiple diverse hotel responsibilities
- Willingness to adhere to safety and emergency procedures
- Authorization to work legally in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or similar property attendant role preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Strong organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Managing work orders promptly while following a preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets and switches
- Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging sinks
- Maintaining public spaces including janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- Preparing guest rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
- Managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and reporting to management
- Following property emergency procedures and ensuring security
- Performing other duties as assigned
