Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or related field preferred
- Ability to complete multiple maintenance and janitorial tasks
- Strong physical endurance including ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
- Ability to perform kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
- Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Commitment to follow company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a similar role preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Ability to complete multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures
- Ability to handle physical requirements of the job
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- Performing preventative maintenance programs
- Conducting public space janitorial work
- Maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- Cleaning PTAC units
- Performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- Providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
- Reviewing maintenance needs in rooms
- Following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
