Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hotel maintenance or custodial duties preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to handle multiple duties
  • Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic
  • Willingness to work varied shifts and hours

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or related hospitality roles preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • Performing light plumbing tasks such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • Performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
