Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel maintenance or custodial duties preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to handle multiple duties
- Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Willingness to work varied shifts and hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or related hospitality roles preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- Performing light plumbing tasks such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- Performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
