Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or related field
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and repetitive climbing
- availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- valid work authorization
- ability to follow safety regulations and emergency protocols

- basic knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques

- physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, climbing, and prolonged standing
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- handling light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging toilets and sinks
- conducting public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security of the property and guests
- performing other duties as assigned
