Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or related field
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and repetitive climbing
  • availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • valid work authorization
  • ability to follow safety regulations and emergency protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
  • basic knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques
  • ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, climbing, and prolonged standing

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • handling light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging toilets and sinks
  • conducting public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security of the property and guests
  • performing other duties as assigned
