Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours
  • physical capability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
  • ability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting
  • ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • commitment to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • willingness to perform various property maintenance and cleanliness tasks
  • ability to manage and track inventory of supplies and tools

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role preferred
  • knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing work
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • good communication skills
  • physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • carrying out light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • repairing drywall and painting
  • caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
