Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year experience in maintenance or related field preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • valid work authorization
  • willingness to work flexible hours as needed
  • ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • commitment to safety and security protocols
  • drug-free workplace compliance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or property upkeep preferred
  • knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to use hand and power tools safely
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • attention to detail and ability to manage work orders effectively
  • previous experience with inventory management is a plus

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • executing light plumbing tasks including plunging and snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
  • conducting drywall repair, painting, caulking, and PTAC cleaning
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • following property emergency procedures and ensuring property and guest security
  • performing public space janitorial work, parking lot upkeep, and trash cleanup
  • other duties as assigned
