Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in maintenance or custodial roles preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • capability to work flexible hours and multi-task
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • commitment to safety protocols
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to follow instructions and work under supervision

Job Qualifications

  • experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
  • ability to perform light electrical and plumbing tasks
  • knowledge of preventative maintenance practices

  • physical ability to meet the demands of the role

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • conducting light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • implementing preventative maintenance programs
  • janitorial work in public spaces
  • parking lot upkeep
  • trash cleanup
  • PTAC cleaning
  • drywall repair
  • painting
  • caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
