Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- relevant experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting for extended periods
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- flexible and willing to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- reliable and committed team player
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to manage inventory and maintenance supplies
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical and plumbing work such as changing outlets, plunging toilets, and unclogging sinks
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures ensuring security needs of the property and guests
- performing other duties as assigned
