Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting for extended periods
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • flexible and willing to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • reliable and committed team player

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to manage inventory and maintenance supplies
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to follow safety and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical and plumbing work such as changing outlets, plunging toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures ensuring security needs of the property and guests
  • performing other duties as assigned
