Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
- ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- flexible and willing to perform multiple responsibilities
- commitment to safety and security procedures
- ability to manage inventory and maintenance supplies
- good organizational skills
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to complete preventative maintenance tasks
- good interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- familiarity with safety procedures and emergency protocols
Job Duties
- managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- carrying out preventative maintenance programs
- performing janitorial work in public areas
- parking lot upkeep
- trash cleanup
- PTAC cleaning
- drywall repair
- painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
