Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
flexible and willing to perform multiple responsibilities
commitment to safety and security procedures
ability to manage inventory and maintenance supplies
good organizational skills

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
ability to complete preventative maintenance tasks
good interpersonal and communication skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
familiarity with safety procedures and emergency protocols

Job Duties

managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
carrying out preventative maintenance programs
performing janitorial work in public areas
parking lot upkeep
trash cleanup
PTAC cleaning
drywall repair
painting
caulking
maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
performing other duties as assigned
