Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or hotel property role preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders
- must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- flexible availability to complete multiple hotel responsibilities
- commitment to safety and quality standards
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hotel maintenance or similar role preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- ability to manage inventory and order supplies
- good communication skills
- ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
- conducting preventative maintenance programs
- performing public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- repairing drywall
- painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash
- moving furniture
- reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
