Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel or property maintenance preferred
- Ability to perform basic electrical and plumbing maintenance
- Physically able to handle manual labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in general maintenance and housekeeping preferred
- Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- Physically able to perform tasks involving climbing, lifting up to 50lbs, bending, and standing for long periods
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- Performing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- Conducting preventative maintenance programs
- Performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- Cleaning and prepping guest rooms for housekeeping including removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
