Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
  • Capability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
  • Commitment to safety and emergency preparedness
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in property maintenance or hotel housekeeping preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and emergency protocols
  • Physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the workplace

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Performing light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • Conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • Performing janitorial work in public spaces
  • Maintaining parking lot upkeep
  • Carrying out trash cleanup
  • Cleaning PTAC units
  • Drywall repair
  • Painting and caulking
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • Ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
