Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous property maintenance or related experience preferred
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
- Ability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
- Flexibility to complete multiple hotel responsibilities
- Commitment to provide quality service
- Willingness to follow property emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or hotel operations preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50lbs
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintenance schedules
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication skills to follow instructions and report issues
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Conducting light plumbing tasks such as plunging or snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
- Performing preventative maintenance programs including drywall repair, painting, caulking, and public space janitorial work
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
