Job Requirements
- minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or similar role preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- ability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
- capability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- availability to work flexible shifts
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or custodial roles preferred
- knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to handle manual labor and physical tasks
- good organizational skills
- team player with flexible approach to completing multiple responsibilities
- basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing tasks such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- performing preventative maintenance programs
- conducting public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- performing drywall repair, painting, caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
