Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • Basic understanding of preventative maintenance
  • Ability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
  • Willingness to follow safety and emergency protocols
  • Reliable transportation to the job site
  • Availability to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property upkeep preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Ability to manage inventory and supply orders
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to follow emergency procedures
  • Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Flexible and adaptable to varied duties

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or switches
  • Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging sinks and toilets
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
  • Adhering to property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
