Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior maintenance experience in a hotel or related setting preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to follow safety and emergency protocols
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging or snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
- Performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- Preparing rooms for housekeeping including removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
