Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in property maintenance or hospitality preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Reliable transportation to the workplace
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Compliance with company policies including drug-free workplace standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or custodial work preferred
- Ability to perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Physically capable of performing tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- Conducting light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
