Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in property maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Reliable transportation to the workplace
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Compliance with company policies including drug-free workplace standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or custodial work preferred
  • Ability to perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Physically capable of performing tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • Conducting light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
