Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs
  • physical capability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • ability to climb stairs and occasionally ladders
  • capacity to perform kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting tasks for extended periods
  • flexibility to handle multiple job duties
  • willingness to follow property emergency procedures
  • valid work authorization

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks
  • familiarity with janitorial duties and housekeeping preparation
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • valid work authorization

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • executing preventative maintenance programs
  • conducting public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep
  • performing trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • repairing drywall
  • painting and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens and trash
  • moving furniture and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
