Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in maintenance or custodial work preferred
- Ability to perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- Must be able to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be physically capable of climbing stairs and ladders and performing physical labor
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and preventative maintenance
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
- Performing public space janitorial duties and parking lot upkeep
- Prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
