Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
- Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
- Physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
- Ability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of tasks and responsibilities
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and janitorial skills
- Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physical ability to perform repetitive climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other strenuous activities
- Flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Conducting light plumbing work including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- Performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
