Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
  • Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
  • Ability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
  • Flexibility to adapt to a variety of tasks and responsibilities
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and janitorial skills
  • Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other strenuous activities
  • Flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Conducting light plumbing work including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • Performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
