Job Requirements
- Ability to perform repetitive climbing of stairs and ladders
- ability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for long periods
- physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- flexibility to work varied shifts
- basic knowledge of safety procedures
- ability to follow instructions accurately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in maintenance or custodial work preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- good communication skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- handling light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- performing public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
