Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or hotel environment preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor involving climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, and lifting 50 pounds
- Must be flexible and able to multitask
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must adhere to company policies including drug-free workplace
- Willingness to comply with safety and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and emergency protocols
- Flexibility to complete multiple hotel responsibilities
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Performing maintenance tasks such as shampooing carpets, cleaning hard surface floors, light electrical work, and light plumbing
- Conducting public space janitorial work including parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
