Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in property maintenance or hotel environment preferred
  • Ability to perform physical labor involving climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, and lifting 50 pounds
  • Must be flexible and able to multitask
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must adhere to company policies including drug-free workplace
  • Willingness to comply with safety and emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety and emergency protocols
  • Flexibility to complete multiple hotel responsibilities

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Performing maintenance tasks such as shampooing carpets, cleaning hard surface floors, light electrical work, and light plumbing
  • Conducting public space janitorial work including parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
