Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in maintenance or hospitality-related role
- Ability to perform physical activities including lifting, bending, climbing stairs and ladders
- Flexible and a team player
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and emergency procedures
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in general maintenance or related field desirable
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs preferred
- Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- Performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
