Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or hospitality environment
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Capability to climb stairs and occasionally ladders
- Ability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
- Strong time management skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Flexible schedule to meet job demands
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel maintenance or similar role preferred
- Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- Flexibility to handle a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- Performing light plumbing tasks such as plunging and snaking toilets or unclogging sinks
- Performing janitorial work in public spaces
- Maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- Cleaning PTAC units
- Performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- Providing orders for needed supplies to management
- Preparing rooms for housekeepers by removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures
- Ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
