Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in property maintenance or hospitality environment
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to climb stairs and occasionally ladders
  • Ability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
  • Strong time management skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Flexible schedule to meet job demands

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hotel maintenance or similar role preferred
  • Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • Flexibility to handle a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • Performing light plumbing tasks such as plunging and snaking toilets or unclogging sinks
  • Performing janitorial work in public spaces
  • Maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • Cleaning PTAC units
  • Performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • Providing orders for needed supplies to management
  • Preparing rooms for housekeepers by removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • Ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
