Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for long periods
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • familiarity with preventative maintenance schedules and inventory management

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • janitorial work in public spaces
  • parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
