Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous maintenance experience preferred
- must be able to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders
- ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work flexible hours
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow safety protocols
- must comply with company drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
- ability to follow safety procedures and regulatory guidelines
- good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- physical ability to perform repetitive climbing, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- attention to detail and proactive approach to maintenance tasks
Job Duties
- managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- conducting preventative maintenance programs
- performing public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- drywall repair, painting and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
