Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous maintenance experience preferred
  • must be able to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders
  • ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to work flexible hours
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to follow safety protocols
  • must comply with company drug-free workplace policy

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
  • ability to follow safety procedures and regulatory guidelines
  • good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • physical ability to perform repetitive climbing, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • attention to detail and proactive approach to maintenance tasks

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • drywall repair, painting and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
