Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hotel maintenance or similar role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Familiarity with safety and emergency protocols
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Manage work orders by adhering to a preventative maintenance schedule
  • Perform carpet shampooing and hard surface floor cleaning
  • Conduct light electrical work such as changing outlets or switches
  • Execute light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
  • Maintain public spaces through janitorial duties and trash cleanup
  • Carry out drywall repair, painting, caulking, and PTAC unit maintenance
  • Prepare rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
  • Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and tools
  • Follow property emergency procedures and ensure security
  • Assist with laundry duties and other assigned tasks
