Job Qualifications

- Prior experience in hotel maintenance or similar role preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- Ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with safety and emergency protocols
- Strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- Manage work orders by adhering to a preventative maintenance schedule
- Perform carpet shampooing and hard surface floor cleaning
- Conduct light electrical work such as changing outlets or switches
- Execute light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
- Maintain public spaces through janitorial duties and trash cleanup
- Carry out drywall repair, painting, caulking, and PTAC unit maintenance
- Prepare rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
- Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and tools
- Follow property emergency procedures and ensure security
- Assist with laundry duties and other assigned tasks
