Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in maintenance or related field preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • flexible schedule and willingness to work various shifts
  • capability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in facility maintenance or hotel property upkeep preferred
  • knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to manage inventory and maintain supply levels
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • physical capability to perform repetitive tasks involving climbing, kneeling, squatting, lifting, and bending

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • conducting light plumbing tasks like plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
