- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in maintenance or related field preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- flexible schedule and willingness to work various shifts
- capability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in facility maintenance or hotel property upkeep preferred
- knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to manage inventory and maintain supply levels
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- physical capability to perform repetitive tasks involving climbing, kneeling, squatting, lifting, and bending
Job Duties
- managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- conducting light plumbing tasks like plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
